Participate Kerala Tourism Loka Pookkalam Competition 2022
Loka Pookkalam Competition (Global Pookkalam Competition) 2022 conducted by Kerala Tourism.
Kerala tourism invites everyone to the season 2 of Loka Pookkalam Competition 2022. The virtual competition will run from chingam 1 to 31 that is from August 17 to September 16, 2022.
To participate in the contest you have to first register through the official website of kerala tourism which is https://www.keralatourism.org/ or you can directly go to the link https://www.keralatourism.org/contest/pookkalam2022/
How to Participate Loka Pookkalam Competition?
The online contest is divided into two categories — one for people residing in Kerala and the other for those outside the state.
The competition is divided into two categories they are for Individual/Home and Institutions / Associations/ Organizations are eligible to participate in the competition, which will begin on August 17, 2022 and conclude on September 16, 2022 midnight (IST). People residing in Kerala and the other for those outside the state can participate the competition
After fill up the registration form once the registration is complete you will receive an email containing registration code.
Write this registration code and the year that is 2022 next to the flower carpet that you are preparing photo of the column along with this code should be uploaded for the contest use the username and password provided during the registration to login to your page.
Last year’s contest participants can use the same username and password an entry is correct when the picture of the floral carpet along with the contestants and registration code slash 2022 is visible a person can send up to 5 entries in this way.
Do not forget to add a title and short description to the photos the admin will conduct the first round of selection of the end raise received entries that do not follow the competition rules will be disqualified this will be communicated to the contestant via email

Judging Committee
An expert or a panel of experts approved by the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala, will initially scrutinize the entries as and when received. This committee will screen the entries, and select the best 100 among them.
A judging committee, appointed by the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala, will further evaluate these selected entries and decide the winners. The judgement will be made on the basis of the artistic worth of the Pookkalam as well as the “likes” they receive in the media. So, don’t forget to share your nominations across social media platforms to garner public support.
